“Thats why this is more important than Benghazi in some ways because every single US citizen can relate to this and most hate the IRS”
Not so sure about that, remember 49% don’t pay taxes, hell in many cases these 49% are getting money back through loopholes, scams and IRS incompetence.

Right. So why is that not being mentioned? They can’t prosecute something that’s not a violation of the law, but they’re acting like nobody knows whether laws were violated. Seems to me that the Hatch Act pretty well describes what happened here.

It is a spanking with the underlying message that it is Bush’s fault.

If I was Shulman I would crawl into the hole I’m digging and stay there. Have no fear though, Jackson Lee will attempt to revive him by blaming Bush.

It makes me SICK that Commie Ed Markey beat out John Lynch in the recent MA Senate primary.
I got to get the hell OUT of this state...

At this point they are acting as who they are...the Congress. They can’t prosecute anyone. They can only make criminal referrals to a prosecutor, who can then do anything he pleases with the referral. The purpose of Congressional hearings is to elicite important information about what is going on. You’re talking about a legal theory under which someone might be prosecuted if it ever got that far.

I think weve all had it with the lies and cover-ups. I want to see heads roll. Precisely. Sometimes patience is very hard to manage.

Shulman wont even acknowledge that its wrong for the IRS to Persecute Americans based on their political beliefs.....says volumes right there. Looks like to me that Shulman is being set up as a fall guy, especially since Dem Rep. Lynch is getting very forceful with him here. Lynch is almost hollering at him!
