Whoa they dismissed her?
They might as well. She isn’t going to answer questions, and they can’t force her to. Beats me why they even bothered wasting time on her when they knew she was taking the 5th. It was a waste of time.
"When it comes to the Constitution, she is a slow Lerner"
Not really . He is unclear whether the testimony waives the right in a hearing.
Issa and Gowdy are doing a classic good cop/bad cop.
Now Jordan basically asking the same thing Gowdy did. Why not make her answer.
Jim Jordan - GREAT!
We do not get to exercise out rights with the damn IRS!
She probably won’t live to see another hearing. Obama’s bus is warming up...
Issa said if they have to take the crude route to the truth they will and the dots will be connected.
Can you expand on this? I'm not getting it.
Do you mean to say that since she gave an opening statement, she accidentally waived the fifth, which she didn't intend to do. So as a courtesy, Issa is dismissing her entire testimony?

The Obama Justice Department has seized the phone records of numbers that are associated with White House staffers and, apparently, with Fox News reporters, according to a document filed on October 13, 2011, in the case of Stephen Jin-Woo Kim, a former State Department contractor accused of violating the Espionage Act for allegedly leaking classified information to James Rosen, a Fox News reporter. Ronald C. Machen, Jr., the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, who is prosecuting the case, has seized records associated with two phone numbers at the White House, at least five numbers associated with Fox News,
From the Securities and Exchange Commission to the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the Central Intelligence Agency to the Federal Communications Commission, many lawyers in top positions in the federal government have something in commontheyre from Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr.
More than any other law firm, Wilmer has populated the Obama administration with high-profile alums. At least 20 partners have left since 2009 for senior government posts. A handful have come back, but 17 others, including U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Ronald Machen Jr., Deputy Treasury Secretary Neal Wolin, Internal Revenue Service chief counsel William Wilkins, and SEC division of corporation finance head Meredith Cross, are still on the job.
If you guys think that Issa sold anyone out with this show you’re wrong.
He has a game plan and he’s playing it to win.
Look for something to happen with her right waiver.
Bad cop Good cop. They’ve got her between ba/rock and a hard place
I’m going to go ahead and think that Issa has a game plan
Neal Wolin - Deputy Treasury Sec. = obama lackey.
Waterboard her!!!!!
Perhaps...I am not convinced yet this time. He should have had counsel on what to do in the instance that she waived her right by issuing an opening statement. That possibility should have been examined before they sat down today. IMHO.
Not “crude”. His word was “circuitous”.
