No surprise here. Lots of ‘recruiting’ in girls’ sports, particularly at the high school level and above. So be careful parents. The sister of a good friend had to drop out of the volleyball team at ESU, because she couldn’t take being hit on constantly.

I was repeatedly called a lesbian and worse by others on my olympic sport shooting team because I wasn't dating anyone at the time. (Sorry - I was rather picky who I would go out with at the time. The last one was a grad student who was, come to find out, an alcoholic!)

So, out on a road trip, I was rather mercenary in the decision to act a trollop while we partied one night at a club after a tournament.
The guy was good looking, and nothing happened more than I wanted, (which wasn't much!) but suffice to say, I never had that problem again.
