oh bull crap,
killing a 22 year old was way over the top, these cops get so excited
sorry bud, you are wrong here, it’s a festival, you don’t get to kill tourists
At the time, it appeared to be rival gangs chasing each other through the crowded streets during the party weekend. This situation plays itself out at all of these urban festivals, I'm not going to second guess the cops here. With gangs you never know who's on what side and where their people are. Unfortunately, these events have a history of getting violent and I'm sure that was on every cop's mind.
I was just describing my tendency...I haven’t made my mind up fully on the case yet.
I know there hasn’t been a CRIMINAL indictment...this is a civil suit....brought up and announced just before the Summer of St. Skittles of Sanford trial is about to begin.
There is likely a political connection here, in my opinion.
But I am open to being persuaded either way. Just saying where I stand now.
Frankly, I see too many stories about young punks threatening cops and then paying the price...and then out come the families, who failed to stop the punk from being a punk...who try to turn the person into an “angel”, and the police into malevolent monsters.
I also AM aware that cops ARE capable of turning bad—we see that, too. There was a case here in Miami where two cops (I think it was two) who were caught PLANTING a gun in a car of a guy they shot and killed....they were caught and sent to jail.
So like I say, I am open to being persuaded the cops were totally in the wrong.
