Significant tornadoes are looking less and less likely.

A Derecho, while bad, dropping a lot of trees and powerlines, and covering much more area than even a large tornado outbreak, is far less likely to kill people or completely destroy buildings.

This morning it looked like it could be as bad or worse than yesterday, and SPC had about the same risk level. Yet another argument against “school should be canceled if there’s storm risk!” nonsense.

I think the worst of it will be later this afternoon around the DFW area.

Yep, not one tornado report as of this morning. Thankfully. It's good to have a severe weather thread that only gets a handful of responses.
