Gonna be a bit windy here.
All planes grounded at DFW Airport.
So far, pretty quiet. Severe storm watches in NY State/New England and Tennessee and Kentucky. Tornado watch added in far NE Texas and SW/SC Arkansas.
Looks like the weather is over Ft. Worth right now so should be passing DFW shortly.
High straight line winds mostly, heard up to 60 MPH near DFW airport.
Just passed on through a few minutes ago in N. Dallas. Just gusty rain, but no hail, or damage so far. I think the worst is over...We’ll take the rain.
Should be all done by 4 PM.
Survey crews found at least one area of EF-5 damage in Moore.
Just got back from the fishing well with a half dozen crappie and noticed the skies are very dark here. No high winds, but the skies look threatening.
I was “-” close to leaving to pick up my daughter off Boggy to go see Dave Matthews but Dave just postponed for 24 hours at 4:30. My nerves have been jangled all day!
I expect we’ll get some short-lived semi-hell in about an hour.
We’ve been watching the radar here and it looks like there are some storms headed our way. Stay safe girl.
Yep, not one tornado report as of this morning. Thankfully. It's good to have a severe weather thread that only gets a handful of responses.
