The big difference is that Gov. Mary Fallin is no Chris Christy. From what I have read, she is to the right of Jan Brewer.
During the first presser, did you notice she spoke for about 5 minutes with only bullet points on some note cards? Not one county in the entire state went for Obama.
Obama didnt win a couple of counties in the primaries if I remember correctly
