In the early 2000's 2004ish to 2006-ish, the quality was their, it was the Big Talk of the NAIAS in Detroit and Paul W. Smith was on a screed about. The Engineers were tear-@$$ because they knew they had an equal product but dip-wads like Thomas Friedman came to the NAIAS and made fun of the Excursion and couldn't see the forest through the trees.
The bottom line is quality and engineering has been their for a while, it has just taken the lame streams eons to notice, ( Note many from certain Blue areas of the Country will still never Notice) either that or they want to get aboard the The New Chrysler IPO and are talking things up, yes I am that cynical...
It's been their what? Their Waterloo?
Quality Engineering is IRRELLEVANT if you can’t execute on it!
Chrystler has always had amazing engineering, it just could never build the damned things right!
The schematics can be flawless, but if its put together by a bunch of drunken monkey’s it doesn’t matter.
