Benghazigate: The lack of a timeline for what the commander-in-chief was doing the night terrorists murdered our ambassador to Libya and three others is an "irrelevant fact," according to a key White House aide.
Playing the role Sunday of former U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice, who last Sept. 16 went on all five talk shows to parrot the administration line that Benghazi was provoked by a video, was White House senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer.
Following in Rice's footsteps, he announced that the details of where President Obama was and what he was doing that fateful night were an "irrelevant fact."
"Fox News Sunday" host Chris Wallace tried to pin down why we have pictures of Obama sitting in the Situation Room the night Osama bin Laden was killed, but on the night Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans were killed we don't have so much as an artist's sketch.
"The president was kept up to date on this as it was happening throughout the entire night, from the moment it started till the end," Pfeiffer said.
So he didn't go to bed that night to rest up for his Las Vegas fundraiser the next day? Pfeiffer wouldn't elaborate.
Pressing Pfeiffer to fill in the blanks, Wallace noted that Obama was with Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and Joint Chiefs Chairman Martin Dempsey in a previously scheduled meeting on the afternoon of Sept. 11, around the time the Benghazi attack started.

He was as far removed from this event as he could get. Kind of like a criminal looking for an alibi.
He was enjoying the LIVE LEAD in the Situation Room.
Obama always enjoys murders of Americans from the
911 Atrocities, through the Cole bombing right
to Benghazi and beyond.

Where was Obama?
Where was Jarrett?
Where was Love?
I’m betting he was in his bedroom on the phone with Axelrod and Jarrett. Damage control for his campaign was a lot more important than dealing with a response to the events in Benghazi. Let the generals deal with that after informing them that no cross-border action would be authorized.
It’s only My Humble Opinion but you know I’m right.
Leading from behind - under his desk.....
We should start a pool on where he was. I say he snuck out to the Rose Garden to get stoned. When the kidnapping went bad, he was too wasted to be of much use. Hillary refused to make any decisions, so Co-President Valerie Jarrett said, “Screw ‘em all. Let them all die, and we’ll just blame that canned video we made.”
:-)
Absolutely correct. This is looking like the TV show, Scandal, where he will do anything to get reelected. Gees...a lady here in Cincinnati admits to voting 6 times in the 2012 election for Obama and they are thinking about prosecuting her. She should be tossed into a dark hole, jail door locked, and the key tossed into the river. When people start to lose faith in the one-man-one-vote principle that this country was founded upon, this Republic is finished. I think Obama has brought us to that point.
“. . .murdered our ambassador to . . .”
IBD gets it. No one else seems to.
It was not four Americans.
It was the US Embassy Staff.
THe enemy knows it and that point alone makes it mortally, supremely important.
And it’s why, by the way, it is not going away.
Pundits take heed, you too, Hannity.
The Ambassador and the Embassy Staff.
Those kind of things are not discussed on the phone, or via email with White House staff.
Obama was too busy campaigning, and preparing for the next day’s campaign, to be bothered by the murder of 4 Americans. After all, his job was on the line, and to him and the democrats, it was more necessary for him to win election than to worry about 4 “expendable” Americans. Retaining the presidency was more important to him, and to democrats, and to his election campaign managers. Taking a few hours or a few day away from campaigning and fundraising in the crucial final weeks of the election, might have cost him, especially when he was behind in many polls at the time. To Obama and his campaign, it was more about winning the election, and facing the heat after; he would already be president again when the questions came. It’s about winning at any cost, and the cost of 4 Americans, including the Ambassador, was just a sacrifice Obama was willing to make. The plan worked, but the questions now need to be answered.
He was holding a beer summit... in the situation room.
Well, I am glad that is settled... and now we can move on to the lack of spending on embassy security under the Bush Administration--

Another question is, did he give an order or approve a decision for the military to stand down?
It shouldn’t be hard for at least a Fox News reporter to ask that question at one of the news conferences.
Nobody should be allowed to drink a beer like that with a limp wrist looking like he’s sucking on a...um root.
