A word of caution for those who have either forgotten or aren't old enough to remember the Klintoon playbook. A favorite play from it was to use selected media stooges to run stories with leaks about a scandal of epic proportions that was about to break and have the rest of the media whip up a frenzy. Then, when the far tamer real story came out, it was much ado about nothing. The most effective use was for Bildo's grand jury testimony that the leakers claimed saw him red-faced, combative and at times, unhinged. When the actual testimony was viewed, there was Clinton lying through his teeth, but completely calm and serene and that was the story, not his lying.

Given that the Obama White House has employed another of the Klintoon playbook favorites—That's Old News— just recently with Benghazi, I wouldn't put much stock in a Bob Lanier-sized 4th shoe dropping.

The 2 differences between the Clinton administration and this one....1) Clinton had not pissed off the CIA by leaving their guys to die then blaming the intelligence community for the mess up. 2) Clinton had not spied on the press (and who knows how far that spying actually goes) in the process most likely thoroughly scaring them and then pissing them off.
