True, diets back then didn’t allow for early menses, because everyone was poorer and ate much less fat.
What "right" should a man have of banging or attempting to bang a 13 or 16 year old?
Well, that’s one theory. There are several others, including increased exposure to sexual material, and plastics and other synthetic materials acting as estrogenic compounds.
In UK, average age of girls reaching puberty has declined five years since 1920.

!!
Yes, I’ve heard those theories. I wonder if there are any studies that investigate both boys and girls and the changes seen in their reproductive systems. I’ve read about how estrogens in plastic MAY feminize boys.
I’ve read it summarized generally as something like: As my rights will inevitably conflict with your rights; as your rights will inevitably conflict with mine; we must both therefore be slaves to the system that resolves all conflict and pursues it to it’s minutia.
This is sweating the small stuff, with zeal.
If you can control the subject of conflict resolution in perpetuity, even if it’s pure folly, then it’s a means to an end => perpetual control.
In another time, your grandpa might say simply: “Do ‘t sweat the small stuff”; “Live and let live.” and “The road to hell is paved with good intensions.”
Note these simple a axioms are not now PC.
What kind of an equal sign will they have for the sheep/human union?
A woman recommended this???? What a witch....she could not possibly have children

Well, adults having sex with 12-year-olds is sick now and it was sick then. I don’t give a rat’s butt what the law said.
When people were very poor, I’m sure it was not uncommon for girls to be given (sold) to older men in marriage, because girls were considered to be a financial liability. That doesn’t make it right.
Anybody comes near my granddaughter, and it won’t matter what the law says, he will be dead.
Good for you!
And then we have the Profit Muhammed (peace be unto him) who married Aisha bint Abu Bakr when she was five and consummated he marriage when she turned nine...

Congress wants to let all the mexicans into here so we might as well make our age of consent the same as Mexico, 12!
They call it Humbert’s Law.
Beat me to it.
