In a commencement address at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, President Barack Obama recalls Jim Crow laws and racism of the 40s and 50s. Morehouse College is a historically black college.
"Dr. King was just 15 years old when he enrolled here at Morehouse. He was an unknown, undersized, unassuming young freshman who lived at home with his parents. I think its fair to say he wasnt the coolest kid on campus; for the suits he wore, his classmates called him 'Tweed.' But his education at Morehouse helped to forge the intellect, the soul force, the disciple and compassion that would transform America. It was here that he was introduced to the writings of Gandhi, and Thoreau, and the theory of civil disobedience. It was here that professors encouraged him to look past the world as it was and fight for the world as it should be," Obama will say, according to text provided by the White House.

“the special obligation I felt, as a black man like you”
Growing up in Hawaii and Indonesia. Not exactly in the hood.
Has anybody told Obama that he is half white? His father didn’t give a rat’s behind about him, and his mother shipped him off to her parents to raise. At least his white mother cared for him for several years. That was more than his black father ever did. This guy’s entire life from his teens on has been about playing the race card.
It certainly held him back, instead of attending Morehouse , his difficult childhood forced to attend Columbia and Harvard Law instead... Wait a minute...
Obama would have had to have lived in the South 75 years ago to have experienced any part of Jim Crow. He’s bloviating again.
Do you notice that he seems to be darker at the Morehouse speech on being a black man than the others you have included?
Could it be from all of the golf or is he using a bronzing agent to accentuate his point?
tie goes to the mother
Whoa jeez your RIGHT! Holy smoke it looks like he’s wearing dark makeup there, look how shiny it is! And his ears are lighter than his face because you cant really put makeup inside the ears. I would not doubt it for a second that is what he did. Same as that BS accent he puts on when he talks in front of blacks. “Ya’ll know tha when tha flood happen down in New Orlaaaans... they wouldna give ya’ll any moe-naayyy..”
Ah, the President has rolled out the obvios canard of racism!!! Whenever the Dems feel backed into a corner, out comes this good ole stand-bye. It’s like watching a professional baseball team bring in their closer in the ninth inning.
First of all, no one wants Hispanic Americans to go back to anywhere. Hispanic Americans are quite welcome in this country. So, to this comment Mr. President I say “F” u with all due respect (sorry for the implied profanity, but I just can’t take this guy anymore). What we want is illegal aliens, companies that hire illegal aliens, and cities that give illegal aliens refuge, to be forced to follow our laws. It would also be nice if the IRS followed the laws, too, but that’s another issue.
Secondly, Jim Crow Laws were a sad part of our history to be sure. Still, to imply that the America of the 40’s and 50’s has anything in common with the America of today is a moral outrage. Certainly, a black President should understand this as well as anyone.
But, if the President wants to talk Civil Rights, lets talk Civil rights. We have no racism to speak of in our government, but we certainly have oppression....of the political right,,,,by the political left. What is your IRS doing, Mr. President. Could anyone imagine how it would go over if the NAACP was held out for extra scrutiny? Good God!!! It would be a media feeding frenzy. How about if NOW or Planned Parenthood got the “Obama’ treatment?
The thing is if those above named groups were targeted, I would truly be offended because it wouldn’t right. The real sad thing (and frightening to some degree) is that the political left (and the media) does not show our side the same respect and deference. People....the IRS went after its own citizens. This is madness!! Heck, it’s more than madness. It’s a New Jim Crow era...brought to us by President Obama.
The question now for us on the political right is are we going to be scared off by Obama’s cries of racism? Or are we going to stand with our principles until we get to the bottom of these scandals? I’m not certain, but I know I don’t back down.
One last note. I played a lot of sports in my day and the biggest lesson I took from those days is “never make excuses.” It’s never what the opponents did to me. It was always ‘what can I do better next time!!!’ With that said, President Obama is the biggest ‘whinner, complainer, it’s not my fault, it’s all out of my control’ leader I’ve ever seen in my life. My baseball coach would have cut him before the season started for being a cry baby. Of course, if that happened he would have levereged the Principal to have the coach fired because we all know that’s how this man rolls.
Thank you Democrats for placing a corrupt incompetent cry baby dofus at the helm. As he whines about a time that no longer exists, and uses the levers of power to keep true democracy at bey, I truly hope you’re happy!!! This guy you put in is a real piece of work.
Now what if Obama turned out looking like this? Would libs still be screaming about his "blackness"? And this guy Miller didn't grow up in a white neighborhood, he grew up in Brooklyn and was raised by his black father which is a hell of lot more black than this fraud.
Divide, divide, divide ... and he’s going to wonder why there are two sides. What a joke this man is. He hasn’t “governed” a day since he’s been in office ... guess that’s what happens when you “hire” a Community Organizer instead of a President.
This POS racist is disgusting beyond description.
