He went beyond what you say....
I guess I’m just not obsessed with people......I’m an idea guy, and large minds focus on ideas while small minds focus on people....
“he” = Begala in my post
my bad then....
“Too bad Allen West wasnt the first real Black President.
If he was, we would have as many Black Presidents as they portray in the Movies and TV.”
Blacks don’t consider Allen West to be an “authentic Black,” so they would never vote for him. He would be to the Presidency as Clarence Thomas is to the SCOTUS. Sad to say, because Allen West it the kind of principled man that we need for a president. Unfortunately, most Blacks have no idea what “principled” means. To them it’s about “free $h!t” and being cared for as the go about their business of procreating another litter of little welfare recipients.
He went beyond what you say....
Then quote him.
Yes, it’s often said that liberals love mankind, it’s just people they hate.
Be happy to.
First, he AGREE with what Fleisher said, which was a sweeping “faith in government” being undermined statement.
Second, he said “the liberal philosphy, the underpinning of it, is that government is good...”
And that was in his first 3 seconds....need more?
...and he goes on...
“this abuse of power by the IRS goes right to the hear of that” (and that means the liberal philsophy). .....and then he says “this does undermine people’s faith in government”
Begala wasn’t disturbed that conservatives were targeted and their private information shared with left-wing organizations. He is only concerned that the conspiracy was revealed to the public.
Obama led the mule party over a cliff in an effort to remain in power...
First, he AGREE with what Fleisher said, which was a sweeping faith in government being undermined statement. Second, he said the liberal philosphy, the underpinning of it, is that government is good...
Looks to me like he said that faith in government is being undermined because of this one scandal.
He did not say that big government was bad.
And he did not say that "their entire (liberal) philsophy is wrong and ours is right?"
His message was more like, Obama and the IRS needs to get their big government azz in gear so that we continue on with the philosophy that "big government is good".
you are the one focused on the term “this one scandal” - what Begala let slip is that this scandal lends credence to the entire notion of government not being good. Besides, with the IRS running Obama Care, it is IMPOSSIBLE, as in let’s see....NOT POSSIBLE....as in “AINT GONNA HAPPEN - to isolate this as “one scandal.” That’s my point. There is no putting this genie back in the bottle.
Begala did not intend to validate that, but he did nonetheless. An IRS scandal by very definition is a scandal on the very nature of intrusive government. It cannot be isolated.
LOL
Just remember that this is the same man who said on camera “ the Clinton’s are the most honorable people “ of any politicians he knew.
How did limited government advocates come to be called “the right”?
Nothing could be further from the truth.
Normal people think that an IRS scandal cannot be isolated. That scandal and big government go hand-in-hand.
That's not what Begala is saying.
*Begala is saying that in this case, the tea party fears are correct. Which means that he still thinks that in all other cases, tea party fears are incorrect.*
He is NOT admitting that the Big Government entire philsophy is wrong and ours is right. He is saying that we need to do Big Government better, else the people won't trust us and we won't get our Big Government utopia.
That is what these folks think when their Big Government doesn't work.
Why are these people such slow learners!!!
you are just missing the point....so missing the point being so obsessed with Begala. I know Begala didn’t MEAN to admit that we’re right...and I know he doesn’t think that he’s right....and I know he meant to say in this one case we happen to be right.
Duh duh duh duh duh. Quit thinking like an accountant and open your mind to the big picture.
The needle Begala is trying to thread is unthreadable, thereby, by definition, he admitted we are right. You are so obsessed with the media and what Begala thinks. I am pointing out what he admitted by default. DUH.
Nonsense.
You're deflecting from your poor choice of words by claiming that I'm obsessed with Begala.
To "admit" one is wrong usually implies that the person MEANS to say that they are wrong.
The needle Begala is trying to thread is unthreadable...
Duh! I've said that several times now.
... thereby, by definition, he admitted we are right.
LOL...your choice of the word "admit".
