Normally yes. If we had competent people on our side these fake offense moves could be effectively exposed and make them look far worse than if they just fessed up. They are now digging themselves deeper into a hole. They could get away with it given our sides incompetence.

It’s amazing how they sometimes seem cowed by the arrogance, audacity and impertinence of the Progressive
witnesses before their committees.
Absolutely amazing.
One hopes that they can gain the intestinal fortitude to confront these people effectively.
