In my neck of the woods, a minor incident can be the start of WW III. There can be months of murder and mayhem over it. I am tracing a trend here in Israeli society so as to understand the major repercussions of it whenever it all finally hits the fan. If that doesn’t interest you, that’s fine. If that doesn’t interest anyone else, that’s fine, too. I don’t care about your local trivia, because it doesn’t have that potential. But I might care about it if it was my son or if I lived near you. Either way, you are free to share your local news, and I should be free to share mine. You are free to discuss your local news on your thread, but good manners would dictate that you not impose it on mine, where I am discussing my local news with all its awful potential. If you ever started a thread, I would observe the same courtesy that I am recommending to you. The fact that anyone has to explain any of this to you suggests to me that you are losing it.
