To: Do Not Make Fun Of His Ears
This is much bigger than that. It’s time we did what is right for the sake of what’s right for a change, instead of such small-minded, here-and-now, me-me-me considerations.

This is unprecedented.

The "normal" thinking, meaning following the rules of succession should Obama be forced out of office, still rewards the original crime since somebody other than Romney will be in the White House. Democrats should NOT be allowed to benefit from ill-gotten gains.

The problem here is one of timing. The nature of fraud is that time passes before the original fraud is discovered, and it is often to late to remedy the originally damaged party, in this case, Romney.

That's why I suggested that an answer lies in section 3 of the 20th Amendment. Congress can declare in hindsight (not ex post-facto), that it is only now obvious that the President-elect failed to qualify, as did the Vice-President-elect, and therefore it falls to Congress to decide on who should be president.

I can see Congress going several ways on this:

1. Laugh it off the table. This will be Harry Reid's position. However, it will be hard to laugh away the 50 million votes that Romney received, next to the zero votes that any other candidate might claim to represent.

2. Follow the rules of succession. If not Biden, then Boehner. Like with the first option, Romney's 50 million votes is the elephant in the room.

3. Pass legislation declaring that Romney is chosen by Congress, via powers in the 20th amendment, to become president. This will have the support of the 50 million who did vote for Romeny.

4. Pass legislation declaring that someone else is chosen by Congress, via powers in the 20th amendment, to become president. They would have to make a strong case as to whom this person is and why they are preferred over the harmed candidate in the 2012 election.

5. Name an interim president via the 20th amendment and call for a new election in 2014 for a permanent president to finish the term. Not likely, as it is too expensive.

Regardless we are in a fix. We cannot let this stand, and if it is allowed, The Republic is dead. If we oust them, the part of the country that voted for him will set the country on fire.

Dear Lord, give us strength.
