Travesty, indeed.
We knew of someone who got a very good deal on a nice piece of property. The seller was/had been a GM dealer...for many years. They targeted him. The stress finally got to him and he took his own life. His spouse basically had a fire sale. Very sad.
He DID build that, then it all came crashing down.

Thanks, Id almost forgotten about that travesty. IIRC, it actually began with the government-brokered sale of Chrysler to Fiat. Conservative-leaning Dodge dealers were the first victims of this new brand of political warfare.
