Imagine. 97% of “climatologists” who live off of government grants are saying the manmade climate change is real and that the government should continue to support research to prove it.

A candidate for a Ph.D. in chemistry joked (?) to me that "you want to research something that's cheap to do, so even if you don't have a big grant, you can make more money."

One of my favorite Milton Friedman quotes: "When you pay for research, you get research. When you pay for results, you get results."
