There is a broader lesson to be learned which is that the Democrats manage to get you and me to finance not just their campaigns but their causes. It ranges from academia where we the taxpayers finance a host of left-wing studies and advance the careers of left-wing academicians, it includes the public financing of public schools which serve as indoctrination centers, it extends to public television and public radio, it is evident in our eleemosynary institutions, and it is certainly evident in grants and contracts let out to left-wing agitators etc.

The compulsory collection of union dues from unwilling workers is only one of the more egregious examples of public financing of the left but even that is exceeded by public funding of Planned Parenthood.

If we win this battle about the IRS and the public sector union no longer can distort the IRS to suppress free conservative speech, we will not have won a victory, we will merely have leveled the playing field. The left will go on to tilt the field elsewhere.

It is becoming more and more clear who our enemies are and where they are located. I had no idea the IRS was unionized. We must put as much pressure as we can on Congress to rid us of the IRS, Obamacare, and stop federal employee unionization. Otherwise, we are finished, and the fascist/socialists will have completely taken the country.

My gosh, these leftist are like termites; they eat the wood from inside out, and all looks good until it snaps and collapses.

After reading that entire, long, and very informative article, I don’t believe I saw the name “Harry Reid” in it. It should be there, IMO.

A great article by the American Spectator. This helps to explain a lot. Some of these Union Thugs had better lawyer up. Even the pro-Obama New York Times will eventually have to note this confluence of crime and political corruption.

So little barry bastard commie is handing the entire nation's healthcare over into the hands of yet another union. And the feckless republicants couldn't see that coming! Sad really, what happened to the We The People Constitutional Republic. The Chicago Way must be superior to such an arrangement, in a Darqinian sort of reasoning.

I was brought up believing We The People are the sovereigns of this Constitutional Republic. Now, in my declining years, I discover the unions are the actual sovereigns ... and the McCainiac ship's crew haven't a clue. Or do they? Whom do they work for???

Jim and Admin Mods:

Thank you, thank you, thank you for putting this important article in the "breaking news" sidebar! We need to be screaming this from the rooftops.

I have sent links to Rush, Glenn Beck, The Five, and Bret Baier...hopefully it will develop legs. :-)

I would have to see specific charges to get excited about this. People belong to unions and have their own political beliefs and we can’t change that or arrest people because of that.

The real problem we face is that leftist obama clones are independently doing things that cannot be traced necessarily to obama. Obama does not necessarily have to tell them what to do because they share same beliefs and worldview. This results in smaller cells engaged in mischief that can’t necessarily be traced to obama himself. We are not going to outlaw union membership or peoples’ beliefs

Someday somebody needs to stop and look at U.S.C. par. 7112 (b) (2), (3), (4), (6), and (7) or http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/5/7112 ~ just all kinds of funny stuff in there about WHO can or cannot be represented by a union in the federal civil service. NTEU has a lot of real members, and a lot of folks in it for the insurance policy and discount rates with a specific law firm. The CONFIDENTIAL employees working on these applications are not bargaining unit folks ~ they probably make as much or more than your average Freeper (ever did before retirement) and consider themselves highly skilled and intelligent professional analysts and examiners.

An Executive Order allowed civil servants to form Unions.

What will it take to revoke that EO?
