Under pressure to show who's boss, President Obama called a press conference late Wednesday to say he was angry that the IRS singled out conservative groups for extra vetting and to announce that the agencys acting commissioner had been forced out.
"Its inexcusable, and Americans are right to be angry about it, and I am angry about it," he said. "I will not tolerate this kind of behavior in any agency, but especially in the IRS, given the power that it has and the reach that it has into all of our lives."

Obama's former deputy press secretary, Bill Burton, said the president did the right thing by making a forceful statement on national television. "There are things that happen outside the control of the president, and to the extent that the president is able to take control of the situation, it's remarkably helpful," he said.

He cant let the Washington chattering class distract from his mission, said Capitol Hill lobbyist Steve Elmendorf. Every administration has these kind of distractions and they need to be managed and dealt with and not get thrown of his game.
A few hours before the press conference, Obama met with Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., to discuss immigration reform.

I am an angry Wee Wee ... and I don't like these kind of distractions that need to be managed and dealt with ... so I made a forceful statement ... and that's more than enough to stop you Right Wing Nuts from throwing me off my game ... so you can shut your pie-holes ... or I'll sic my IRS jackboots on you ... again!
So, by forcing out the COMMISSIONER, isn't he admitting that the decisions were made by something other than a few rogue local Cincinnati peons?
He’ll be even angrier when the memo’s and such pointing up the chain of command come out.
America has waken up...and it is past time for that...LISTEN TO THE VOTERS AND TAXPAYERS FOR A CHANGE...
What a weenie.
HA!......the little boy king threatens America. Your reign is in danger..AMERICA wants answers, and so far all we get are more lies. Your Gestapo like tactics will do you in POS.
ooohhh.....me skeert...............not
Obama asked someone to resign who had already agreed his job would terminate in fifteen days. And he’s staying on until then!
Man, he’s really angry.
He is so angry, he stepped up and threw the acting commissioner under the bus. A guy who was not even acting commissioner until after all this happened. Now that is angry. My suspicion would be that Obama threw the first guy he could find under the bus that he was certain *could not* sing to a prosecutor. You throw a guy under the bus that knows something and he can make problems for you.
...even more info comes out today...the fake administration, from top to bottom is unraveling. It’s falling apart. Let’s find out who bugged Congress?
He didn’t force out anyone. The guy put in his retirement a while ago . He is retiring in June anyway. This story is BS.
Just another lie.
This clown is so full of crap his eyes are brown.
Having written a lot of dialog, you try to stay away from cliché’s. I listen to Obama and the cliché movie dialog hits me; wham, wham. His thinking and speech are formed around TV dialog; simple, repetitive and unoriginal. Listen to any other president and compare, you’ll hear the difference. Men who form their thoughts and speech from book learning and experience form complex thoughts into simple sentences. Kennedy said, “I know you think you understand what you thought I said. I’m not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.” Churchill said, “Never have so many owed so much to so few.” Caesar said, “I came, I saw, I conquered.” But our “most articulate president” needs a teleprompter to address kindergartners. Really.
The ACTING Commissioner’s term was up in June anyway. Just another distraction like Holder’s imaginary recusal.
A cornered rat fights back.
He’s angry he got caught.
The MSM Talking heads will excuse this issue and blame Republicans for being political
about a political issue. They are lining up the ducks now.
Obama: Just words, just speeches.
