Chris Matthews sours on Obama

President Obama "obviously likes giving speeches more than he does running the executive branch," Chris Matthews said tonight.
Yes, you read that right: The MSNBC host who in 2008 felt a "thrill going up my leg" after hearing Obama speak has grown disenchanted. Tonight's episode of Hardball saw Matthews delivering a rare, unforgiving grilling of the president as severe as anything that might appear on Fox News.
"What part of the presidency does Obama like? He doesn't like dealing with other politicians -- that means his own cabinet, that means members of the congress, either party. He doesn't particularly like the press.... He likes to write the speeches, likes to rewrite what Favreau and the others wrote for the first draft," Matthews said.
"So what part does he like? He likes going on the road, campaigning, visiting businesses like he does every couple days somewhere in Ohio or somewhere," Matthews continued. "But what part does he like? He doesn't like lobbying for the bills he cares about. He doesn't like selling to the press. He doesn't like giving orders or giving somebody the power to give orders. He doesn't seem to like being an executive.”

I don’t think Chrissy is afraid (but what do I know)...he is too effusive in his praise for the Gay Won.
I lost it in a crash. It involves an interview with a French/english spook, some CIA types and was within a year of the first election.

Having Chrissey turn on the big O, makes for good ratings.
What did Chrissy expect. Obama is a community organizer for extreme leftist policies. He just happened to ge the job of President of the United States. A tile certainly doesn’t make one qualified or even able. But of course many of us already knew this long before Obama first got elected.
Speaking of short timers, I wonder if there are odds on how Humpty Dumpty will fall.
Team obama has been sloppy and his handlers only tolerate "sloppy" when it works for them.

The next few days Matthews will double down on the greatness of Obama (i.e. his gentleness or some such rot) and take cues from Obama’s speech today about Congress (i.e. Republicans) playing partisan politics.
He'll always be useful as a martyr.

He likes the playing of “Hail to the Chief.” He likes ordering people around, commanding respect, all eyes on him, people fainting in crowds, putting his ugly shoes on the Oval Office desk. He likes having everyone see his march madness bracket. He likes the vacations. He likes Air Force one. He likes being able to order good looking guys on TV brought to his home for dinner.
