He is a social liberal, fashionably agnostic but ethnically Jewish, fiscal conservative, neo-con in the style of the brats of the old Partisan Review. Kristol, Podhoretz, etc. Second generation. He is also Canadian, has an MD (psychiatrist, not hard sciences, has a liberal art BA, how did he get into med school?)

Tiresome bunch of privileged trust funders, except for Jonah Goldberg. He can write a good sentence but is completely overrated...I guess Ailes likes him as much as Geraldo.
