House Speaker John Boehner (R., Ohio) suggested Wednesday that government officials might deserve prison time as a result of the Internal Revenue Services scrutiny of conservative groups.
-snip-
Clearly someone violated the law, Mr. Boehner said. There are laws in place to prevent this type of abuse. Someone made a conscious decision to harass and to hold up these requests for tax-exempt status. I think we need to know who they are.

I watched a speech given by SOS Kerry last week. He was recognizing the four killed in Benghazi as well as some other State Dept employees who were killed in diplomatic service. He introduced Joe Biden and spoke of him in a way that made me think he was preparing the world for a President Biden. It was like he was telling the families that Joe Biden is a lot more competent at foreign relations. I had to chuckle at that.
Big deal. Put some IRS stooge in jail for doing the bidding of the White House? That will surely fix things.
LOL!
Boner crawled out from under the bar to predict six more weeks of investigations. Film at 11.
Obummer is creating these scandals as fast as he can. Maybe he thinks if there are enough of them out there the Republican National Geniuses (collective I.Q.=113) will get so confused they won’t be able to concentrate on any of them.
Those most likely to end up in prison are the factfinders and whistleblowers.
Yes I’m sure that our crack Justice Department under the steadfast leadership of Eric Holder are preparing indictments even as we speak. </sarcasm>
Standing strong, as always, eh, John?
That slow motion, unruffled, "just got back from a long lunch", nap time style of yours is far more frightening than an aggressive, take no prisoners, "the guilty are gonna pay, so help me Gawd!" style with attitude, no doubt about it.
Sic 'em, tiger.
Not enough need special counsel, need Boehner to resign.
Looks like somebody put a little spine in Tammy Faye’s martini.
Start with the congresscritters who pressured the IRS to engage in these attacks. Schumer, Baucus, Bennet and others.
With Bonehead, he always hedges. There should be NO hedge. The IRS
committed criminal acts. All the people involved must go to jail.
It’s a good start to open a crack in this criminal enterprise.
Jail to the Chief.
So, Mr. Boehner, as the third most powerful man in the United States Government, you’re in a unique position to make sure the right questions get asked. Let’s see you bear down and look for the right answers.
LOL That will not happen.
Boehner will do only enough to fool Conservatives into believing he is pursuing the truth.
I say imprison every member of congress.
