I read some stats on this and it seems that the MADDs and others
consider it a “death averted” every time a DUI arrest is made.

I read some stats on this and it seems that the MADDs and others consider it a “death averted” every time a DUI arrest is made.

They also use the "alcohol related" statistic to skew the evidence too. Drunk passenger and sober driver = alcohol related.
