I don’t know his politics, but Gary Oldman is one of my fave character actors. He has been fantastic in every role I’ve seen.

How you could compare a one-trick-pony like Midler with him...

I also wonder if Midler’s comment isn’t HEAVY sarcasm. Nobody could be that ignorant could they?
