ABC News’ Trey Hardin: West Wing Of White House Authorized IRS-Gate Targeting
Gee, it wasn’t a local IRS office scandal after all. ABC’s Trey Hardin suggested “with a very strong sense of certainty” that the West Wing of the White House authorized the IRS targeting of conservative groups.

Trey Hardin: “I will tell you this on the IRS front. I’ve worked in this town for over 20 years in the White House and on Capitol Hill and I can say with a very strong sense of certainty that there are people very close to this president that not only knew what the IRS were doing but authorized it. It simply just does not happen at an agency level like that without political advisers likely in the West Wing certainly connected to the president’s ongoing campaign organization.”
Trey Hardin was on with Doug McIntyre on 790 KABC this morning.
Not too fast here. Not saying they have any evidence, but that logically it had to be green lighted (or even directed) by White House. Long way to go to make it stick.
I don’t doubt for a minute that it came from the White House (who has been in hiding??? Intials VJ). It will be another thing to find out unless the IRS folks roll over.
Plus, it helps to stop thinking that these cretins with Ivy degrees have any intelligence whatsoever.

By postponing their tax exempt status, it prevented them from campaigning against Obama.
Not only that, the IRS gave the confidential lists to PRO-Obama groups to target the donors to intimidate them from donating to the GOP candidates.
This is unbelievable.

I think this was Obama’s way of gumming up the works of grass roots organizations. Besides the time and effort required to complete the questionnaires, they could not solicit tax-free donations.
Absent any written documentation ,
or a willing witness to offer testimony ,
it is all “hearsay”.
