Observing the interior is fine under current law, although I think it can also be abused. My question had to do with what the requirements are for someone who has a gun somewhere that is not visible who gets pulled over for a minor traffic infraction. Do they have to disclose the gun if asked? If not, do they refuse to speak, and then the cop gets pissed and hassles you even more? If you do tell them you have one, does the traffic stop allow them to check it out?

I am sorry but I do not have enough knowledge of the law to give you an answer. I do know that if I did have a gun & was stopped I would tell the cop. They would get very pissed & would hassle you if they found it. Especially the Troopers. There have been quite a number of them killed by illegal guns & therefore they are very testy.
Sorry I don’t have a better answer.
