What do the talking points have to do with leaving thirty people to die? What do the talking points have to do with lying about a video? What do the talking points on Benghazi have to do with the IRS scandal or the AP scandal?

If someone in the GOP altered those emails, that will make people reject ANYTHING the GOP says. Thats why it matters. When Tapper says something like this I begin to worry.
Tapper is being played. Nobody altered emails, unless it was the WH. Calm down...this is BS misdirection.

That’s the truth. I can’t imagine somebody would do something like that. If they did, they need to go to prison but I still want to know everything. I want the truth.

The GOP didn’t “alter” anything. NOBODY was permitted to copy the original emails. White House rules precluded them actually HAVING the original emails. Select people could LOOK at the emails, and then they had to leave the room - not even note-taking was permitted. So now the White House, after making sure no one would have the exact wording, is accusing the GOP that their version isn’t the precise wording. Truth is, these minor discrepancies don’t change the meaning at all, and we knew from the get-go that people were relying on recall.
