Further statements from the police indicated that it was not a hate crime because no statements about race were made. In fact, they said that the initial altercation began because the attacker didn’t like the victim’s pink shirt. The “wrong neighborhood” comment only came later.

The liberal press wants to ignore the race of the people involved? Fine, remove all references to race and everything changes. The altercation began away from the wife and daughter, so the attacker just saw a man in a pink shirt and it mad the attacker mad. Why would the attacker punch the victim just because he was wearing pick?

Clearly, the attacker thought the victim was homosexual, and he wanted him out of his hetero-only neighborhood.
