The real question is: “Why is this IRS scandal being exposed NOW, and by whom?”
There is one obvious answer: Obama is wagging the dog by pushing out the IRS story in order to defocus attention from Benghazi, which could lead to impeachment. At worst, the IRS thing will result in an apology and maybe a few firings of underlings.
There is a REASON this IRS stuff is coming out NOW, rather than a week or a month ago. Don’t doubt me ;-)
If Rush doesn’t lead with this question today, it may be time to hang up the golden EIB microphone...this is a smoke screen that is perfect for the intended purpose of deflecting public attention away from the real scandal, just like a burglar tossing raw meat to the guard dogs.
Revealing the IRS intentionally targeting and disseminating private information and going after certain political groups is pretty damn serious stuff.
But I do agree with your assessment and would not doubt it for a second.
