Communist Goals (1963) Congressional Record—Appendix, pp. A34-A35 January 10, 1963

#17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.

The same commie piggies who are always whining about “bullying” of sexual deviants in the schools engage in the “bullying” of Christians there. I don’t think we’re in America anymore, Toto!

My kids, sadly, went to public schools before I knew better, but I did start to notice things. My son was told he couldn’t bring his Bible for free reading time, which I corrected with the teacher, and my other son seemed to feel the need to look around, make sure no one was nearby, and whisper when he spoke about Jesus.
There is a definite chilling effect...

It’s hard to take a ‘journalist’ seriously when she doesn’t know the difference between the words imply and infer.

It’s her job to know the difference. Is she that poorly educated? Apparently.

this is normal in public schools.

One of the teachers here always starts the school year by asking who believes in God and then ridiculing them and telling them they are wrong.

This is Texas.

[[school-age children say that because of their Christian beliefs, they’ve endured ridicule and had their rights trampled on in public schools.]]

But of course they won’t be protected under dear leader’s ‘anti-bullying’ laws-

//When asked if the children in the video had experienced bullying in area public schools because they are Christians, Brown wouldn’t say.

“Bullying is in the eyes of the beholder, I guess,” he said. //

If a child thought they were gay, she would have been crying ‘bullying’ but it isn’t because the kids are Christians.

Watching the Military Channel this last Friday night primetime and what’s on? => A light agitprop documentary questioning the authenticity of the books of the Bible.

Really? That’s primetime programming for this audience? It’s all getting so transparent now, it would be funny if I didn’t think we’re doomed to either stupidity or apathy...or are they the same thing?

Leftist propaganda and subversion is ubiquitous.

These kids are not alone. I’m astonished at all the student led Christian happenings which are cropping up in my daughter’s life. She’s a high school senior. One group approached a local church asking to use their cafe for a Saturday evening student led worship night and they were delighted to agree.

For the last two years, these kids have regularly gathered to worship, and now kids from other schools are joining. None of the parents have even heard of this before their kids joned, but I’ve checked it out and it’s the real deal. They eventually have invited guest speakers (missionaries, Pastors, Christian teachers), but the kids decide who they will invite.

From that has come multiple prayer and Bible Studies held at the students’ homes. These kids are as passionate, no- more passionate, about their beliefs than the occupied wall street scum are about theirs. These kids know exactly what they believe and what is at stake in America.

Don’t give up on our youth. To many, they have seen two sides of life, and they have decided to follow Christ. This is not a watered down “everybody does it” version I saw as a youth. These kids are on fire.

Which part of Texas? I have lived Texas my whole life, all my kids have gone to school in Texas. We have never once been ridiculed for our faith. We have caught grief for our belief in limited government and that the government has no business in the charity business and what not, but not our faith.

Not saying it didn’t happen, but sometimes it is hard to buy these stories since I don’t see it happening here, ever.

I am a sixth-generation Texan (at least) of over fifty years.

I was ridiculed for my faith in junior high school by Protestant students because I am Catholic.

Have you seen history books lately?

They never use the term BC or AD now it’s all that crap of CE and sadly most of this country has no idea what is being told to their kids , have no clue about this or are just too damn lazy and that is millions out there who never tell their kids BC, AD or anything which the left is trying to destroy

My oldest son is doing that internet course crap of social studies and I love history thus I read what he is.

I went into melt down last night when I saw the amount of times I saw CE, BCE instead of BC , AD.

I told him to never write CE or BCE you write BC AD and if this faceless teacher has a problem with that to tell me , then I told all my kids in the front room that you never write CE,BCE at all in your lives and you defend AD, BC.
