I had a bunch of office plants that winter in my sunporch office. I had taken them out onto the deck a week ago thinking the cold snaps were past. Wow, I cannot remember it getting this chilly this late in May over the last twenty years I’ve been back in E.TN.
I grew up in Toledo, Ohio and since it’s right on the lake Grandpa always was careful about plants until Memorial Day. But you’re farther south and in a different planting zone so this really is late cold for you.
