On MSNBC Saturday morning, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said that she, too, wants to find out what happened in Benghazi, but that Republicans are taking political advantage of the investigation to distract from other, more important issues.
“The obsession that some of my Republican colleagues have in the House doesn’t look like it’s on the path to really finding a solution, but just to keeping an issue alive,” she said. …
“We certainly have to give the full attention Benghazi deserves, but we cannot let it soak up all of the congressional attention,” Pelosi said. “What would be the purpose of that?” …
“We want to find out what did happen, but … then it becomes an issue that is subterfuge: ‘Let’s talk about Benghazi forever, so we don’t have to talk about what the American people want us to talk about,’” Pelosi said. “They want us to talk about jobs, they want us to talk about economic security, economic growth.” …
“Much of what is being said out there by some of my colleagues in Congress is simply not true … it simply isn’t true,” Pelosi said. “So we have to make sure the public record is clear.”
‘What would be the purpose of that?’ Oh, I don’t know — finding out the truth, maybe? And anyhow, there was plenty more going on on the Hill last week besides the Benghazi hearings, from immigration-reform to fracking rules, and as long as we’re at an economic-growth impasse, with Democrats demanding more stimulus measures and higher taxes and Republicans looking for regulatory rollback and tax reform, why don’t we devote some attention to figuring out exactly whose failures led to the deaths of four Americans and the subsequent pre-election lies about the nature of the attack to the American people? And hey, if some of the focus is political, that door easily swings both ways — the degree to which Republicans are ‘obsessively’ trying to push the story is only matched by the degree to which Democrats are ‘obsessively’ trying to minimize it.
And what is it Republicans are saying that “simply isn’t true”? After this week’s hearings and ABC report on the changed talking points, even certain media outlets are cautiously admitting that, er, well yeah, actually, there are some substantive lingering questions here and the White House is starting to look kinda’ bad, even as they’re determinedly trying to steer the story to the State Department as some kind of completely separate entity and keep the focus off of their shoddy MidEast policies. Sorry, but the time for sweeping this under the rug is long past, and somebody is certainly trying to distract here — but it ain’t the Republicans.
Nanzi Pelozi finds another way to say “who cares about the lives of our embassy and CIA employees?” One of the most notable things said during last week’s hearings was that “nothing has changed (re embassy security)” still. I don’t recall which one said that.
Does anyone have even the slightest doubt that if the situation was exactly the same, but the president had an R after his name that she would be leading the charge and staging massive demonstrations? The only difference is, is the republicans would not be circling the wagons for such a breach.

They have NONE and should be politically eradicated using every means possible.

Nanacy Pelosi may have a feeble mind, but she holds to a very high standard of consistency.
We are interested in Benghazi for one very important reason, to actually do something to AVERT any future “Benghazi” incidents.
Because with the Current Regime in the White Hut, this or a similar situation shall continue to happen again and again.
The Won has either A) blundered repeatedly in his conduct in office, or B) acted with malicious aforethought to bring great shame and grief upon the full faith and trust of the United States of America as a nation. After only days earlier pronouncing the al-Qaeda organization as “organizationally defunct”, the hit on the State Department post in Benghazi was made - by the supposedly defeated al-Qaeda organization. The Current Occupant boasted, spiked the ball, and danced on the demise of Osama bin Laden, which probably had no little bit to do with the revenge strike on the facility, and the subsequent deaths of four Americans, plus untold damage to US prestige in the world.
Mission accomplished.
In a surprisingly prescient slip of the tongue, the late Ted Kennedy drunkenly made the juxaposition between “Osama Obama”. How fitting.
I heard a liberal say the other day that he can not figure out why the Republicans keep asking the same questions. My answer to him was because the answers keep changing...I have no idea why it is so hard to understand that lies were told from the beginning and different lies are being told now.

They say Benghazi happened a long time ago. Well, why are they still harping about that "Mission Accomplished" banner on a ship returning from deployment where President Bush gave a speech? Now that happened a long time ago, and the banner was about the crew returning from their mission, not about the war ending. So no, no "accurate" investigations by the left.
Bthen I faintly remember someone mentioning the attacks on the Embassy in Kenya .....don't remember who either.

So four (4) dead Americans including an Ambassador is just a little bump in Nancy’s road that we don’t need to pay attention to???
Same with her criminal and falls vetting affidavits she issued 2008 to 49+1 States. Treason!!!
