Who said God was petulant or vindictive? Only you. Any good father will discipline his children. My take on Tebow backing out of the speech ( I hope you know what I'm referring to)was that he let his desire to please man overwhelm his desire to glorify God. Just my take as I read about it and Tim didn't have any better explanation. I don't condemn him for it. He's 10x the Christian that I am. But it was irritating. Especially in this day and age where God is more and more removed from society. So would our ultimate shepherd want to reign in a straying sheep? Maybe. I sure can't speak for him. I was just giving what I think was an interesting take on a subject. Sorry it didn't pass your righteousness test.

Sorry, but “payback” isn’t discipline .. no matter how you slice it.

(Liberalism is only possible in that moment when a man chooses Barabas over Christ.)
