don-o, we’ve had lots of John Deans come and go. The media only cares if they’ve got the goods on Republicans.
The whole Nixon thing was really a successful coup against the Republicans anyway. The affair was tame compared to the crap that went on (and continues) in the subsequent democrat White Houses.

But I do think the chance for sullying Rodham is what matters most about the scandal at this point. As the 2016 heir apparent, I think she has some dubious marks against her as it is. Benghazi could be the wedge issue that makes her a loser in the general election, swaying just enough of the idiot vote away from her.
She’s the one who made the 3 am phone call ad and look how easily Benghazi can be used to undercut her CIC credentials.
Plus, as bad as she looks these days (I don’t like disparaging someone’s looks even a vile commie but facts are facts) I see a bloc of reality TV voters out there probably ready to find some excuse for voting against her.
Let’s not kid ourselves, sex sells and she’s a mess.
Hmmmm. Counsel to the President? Lots of those? I musta missed that...
Regardless, I consider impeachment of The Dear Leader a remote possibility and a potential distraction at this point. The realistic hope is to remove the Dem control of the Senate while holding the House in 2014. Crippling Hillary for 2016 is icing on the cake.
