Obama’s/Clinton’s foray into Libyan politics has really made us so much more unsafe. They made military/commercial air travel dangerous. Why? Because Woods was part of a CIA team whose mission “was to find the more than 20,000 missing MANPADS, or shoulder-held missiles capable of bringing down a commercial aircraft.” Well done Obama! So somebody needs to clue in the bloviating Colonel Cartwright USMC who was on ABC this morning saying that there was nothing they could do by air since it would have taken atleast 9 hours to fuel up and load ordinances blah blah blah and not get there until the next day.
Of course none of this would have happened if Ghaddafi was still in power. Given that Obama has not done a thing about Assad, I really have to wonder what Ghaddafi did to piss him off. And all the hawks like McCain who want to eliminate Assad need to take a close look at the democratic paradise we created in Lybia and ask themselves if it is in our national interest to re-create it in Syria.

Yes, I also think they need strong and clear evidence of a “crime”, such as no one owning up to the 12 changes in talking points, no one admitting to giving the “stand down” order, proof that “someone” in US government (State? CIA?)was supplying Libyan weapons to Syria, proof that Cheryl Mills obstructed a Congressional investigation by ordering “her” people not to talk with Chaevitz and sending “minders” to make sure they stayed obstructed, (or ___? fill in the blank - any federal crime). [Cheryl Mills was Bubba’s impeachment lawyer - real snotty and imperious -the forerunner to O & M, the imperial copuple]
Since we no longer have an IC statutory process, which Clinton and then Bush both hated so much, they can go back to the common-law method of Congressional request to the DC Court of Appeals and ask for the Court to appoint an IC or SP since the AG is so interwoven into the process and has an inherent conflict of interest (especially on Fast & Furious).
It would be nice to keep them bobbing and weaving on both fronts (Benghazi & F&F)
