Exactly. The boy would have been congratulated by his mates and the young lady would have been scolded by the principal. I don’t know why so many folks here (guys, I imagine), have their panties in a knot about it.
I think it’s due to either a misplaced sense of justice or equality, or more probably, a not-so-hidden agenda of misogyny in wanting her punished as a man would be, and ergo, a lack of self-certainty in their own masculinity.
