Chris Christie and Climate Skeptics-The governor won’t meet with a leading New Jersey warmist critic

The governor won’t meet with a leading New Jersey warmist critic.

Hello from the Paul Robeson Center for The Arts, located on Paul Robeson Place, just a few blocks down from Princeton University. They like their hardcore communists here in Central Jersey. But they also make really great coffee, which is why I make it a point to meet up with my long-time lefty friend in Palmer Square where we have plenty of options. In print, we’ll call her “Moonbeam,” to prevent our association from destroying her standing in the community, and to make it clear that her environmental policy stances are detached from reality.

I’m scheduled to have lunch later in the day with William Happer, a leading climate skeptic and professor of physics at Princeton University. He’s not convinced human activity is the primary driver of warming and cooling trends, and sees mostly natural influences at work. Happer is not alone.

Over 1,000 scientists have gone on record to dispute the findings of the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), which has been used to advance the idea that human emissions are largely responsible for the warming that occurred in the latter half of the 20th century. The IPCC also claims anthropogenic (manmade) global warming will likely lead to catastrophic climate change. This means government officials must intervene to restrict fossil fuel use and other industrial activities to save the planet. That’s the standard line widely embraced by the mainstream media, but it’s wearing thin in light of new evidence that show solar rays and other astronomical influences are largely responsible for global warming. The Nongovernmental International Panel on Climate Change (NIPCC), which is set to release a new report this year, probes the connection between solar activity and climate change much to the consternation of...

This guy’s tacking left so fast I can only assume he’s angling for the 2016 GOP presidential nomination.

Interesting how the truncation of the title changes its entire meaning.

i notice how the enrichers of economic terrorist Al Gore always speak in parts per million....Like they say “CO2 is at 400 PPM..A dangerous level!’ They never speak in percentages, such at “The percentage of CO2 in the atmosphere is 0.04%” because they know people will look at that and say “Hey that’s zero point zero!”

Some of the people who supported Christie early on, should be a little embarrassed by him now. He is turning into another pop culture, pop science wonder. He will never get the GOP nomination, not even if he loses 300 pounds, but he is well positioned to run as a Democrat or an independent, whatever boat keeps him afloat politically.

I don’t know about global warming as such, but I suspect that the state of New Jersey is noticeably warmer from all the f*rts let loose by that fat pig sitting in the governor’s chair.

Probably that also explains why Sandy hit the Jersey Shore so hard. It was the result of Christie induced climate change.

CO2 is just short of 4 parts out of 10,000

Same as occupying 4 seats in a 10,000 capacity stadium

Christie can't be bothered listening to William Happer, one of the better known physicists in the country. Christie is smart enough to go to law school and pass the bar, but he can't figure out that this is probably the biggest fraud in history!

Well, as long as he’s only wasting the money of the New Jersey electric bill payers (on things such as the solar panels being installed on utility poles), it’s OK with me. I don’t want him to be anywhere where he can waste money on a national scale.

Unless, of course, he want’s to partake of the goodies from that fraud while the “gettings” are still available.

There’s a lot of BIG money to be made by politicians with their “climate change” scam. Christie is definitely a politician. We learned that during the Hurricane Sandy fiasco.
