Blood stains are still visible on the sidewalk at the corner of Flower Street and Palm Drive, where a Bakersfield man struggled with as many as nine officers and later died this week.
David Sal Silva, 33 and the father of four young children, died early Wednesday morning after deputies say he fought with them and CHP officers who'd responded to a report of a possibly intoxicated man outside Kern Medical Center.

A lot simpler to just remove the memory card and put a different one in its place, then hand them the phone, PUBLICLY. OR, hand them a similar yet not the actual phone, take your time copying the content, then contact them and tell them you’re sorry, but it appears you gave them the wrong phone and give them the right one.

Fair enough. Tell you what, next time I see a cop with a smile on his face, and not coming off like some heavy handed totalitarian jack booted thug, I’ll let you know. I can promise you it’s been a looooong time. Even when they come out to my neighborhood to lead our annual 4th of July neighborhood parade, their behavior and demeanor is disgusting.
My cousin’s neighbor is a Cleveland cop, he’ll be at my cousins house getting drunk an hour before he leaves for duty. Real professional this guy.
While I have had zero “official” interactions with LEOs, the ones I’ve observed have left me absolutely disgusted.
My respect for the profession has waned over the years; sorry, but observation is all I can go on.
So in other words they acted like your average cop today.
