Just a handy link for a great overview of current events in the 3D/Additive Manufacturing design and manufacturing space.
etc.
So democrats will try to ban 3-printing because it empowers the individual . they will say a one in a billion adam lanza will print a gun blah blah blah , well they allready are saying that

I really enjoy my 3-D printed stationary!
Union goons will be again’ it.
Nothing more dangerous than a peon with a better idea...
yes unions and democrats will be against 3-d printers . democrats want us to be dependent on government and slaves to the government
I think Americans with their own 3-d printers can find a way to make some items cheaper in their homes than China can by shipping them halfway around the world.
I am looking forward to the Stratasys earnings call on Monday. 3D printing has had a good run lately.
How many coins in the turnstile will the Chinese have to give dems to try to stop this?
The power of the computer amplifies the human mind. It’s as though you have an army of people at your beck and call to do research and crunch numbers.
Computers controlling hardware that can assemble physical objects will be like having an army of artisans following your directions and building things for you.
Most people simply cannot believe the societal changes this tech will soon cause. Even governments refuse to see what’s coming.
Naysayers think it’s pie in the sky dreaming and dismiss it as Kurzweilian nonsense. This tech however does not depend on human level (or greater) AI to come to fruition.
Okay!
Want to make money? A son-in-law was over last night, and relayed a story about his friend he visited after many years. The friend had a collection of vintage stickers from his childhood and decided to sell them online. They were so popular, his wife suggested they make some. So they made new ones with vintage motifs and made a fortune, making over $200G a year now.
You can do something similar with 3D printers, making knockoffs of toys that people desperately want but are in short supply. Just saying...
