any thoughts on who the gang of 14 that were “Deep Backgrounded” before the real presser started? i can’t believe that those that were not invited haven’t leaked out the names yet.

So it could have been more than 14 people since Carney refers to organizations. I gotta think that NYT, WaPo, MSNBC were there. Maybe Media Matters and HuffPo.
I would guess it was the most loyal Obamabots who were called in to discuss a strategy. If we see a pattern in reporting emerge in the coming days it will help nail down who was there.
