Yep, that's been the narrative for decades.

The next step is criminalizing the spread of ideas that “endanger public safety” or “promote damage to the environment”. I can already see the commies arguing “we already have limits on speech. Can't yell fire in a theater, can't threaten the president, etc, etc, etc”
