Only 10 round mags? Design a gun that holds three of them.

Similar things happened after the 1986 federal AWB.

great idea... auto-rotating magazines.
The mags hold 10, but they rotate in a star pattern of 5.

Now how exactly does this make a perfectly designed rifle less dangerous? Ban-compliant stock adapter from Exile Machine.

And here's one that is California-compliant. Thank G-d it has this stupid looking thing on it and it's no longer dangerous.

I see it as placating...
Yes, Stag will be able to re-design the weapon to be legal in the state of CT....for now. So what about the next set of 'rule changes'?
You going to re-tool your line for every idiot politician's whim on what can/cannot be operated in CT? I would bet good money that the next set of 'rules' will narrow it even more.
If Stag looks to move out of state, and set up shop in a more friendly state, I understand that there will be a cost incurred with doing that. However, by doing that, you then take money and jobs from the offending state, and move it somewhere that the locals will be more accepting.
It's far past time we start making it hurt for decisions that are made in the face of common good. In this day and age, people only seem willing to learn lessons painfully. Taking taxes and wages from the offendings state coffers sounds like a good way to teach a hard lesson.
If enough people/businesses do it, then the lesson only becomes more painful.
I am all for inflicting as much pain as possible..it's time to teach hard lessons.

But don’t you think the Connecticut Commies will just write more laws and all the design and development costs will be wasted?

10 rd mg limit, and no “military” features at all, including a pistol grip.

You know, I’ve shot a lot of people with an AR without a folding stock. I was only 18 and didn’t know any better.
