Someone on Fox & Friends this morning, probably Steve Doocy, said that Hicks voted for Hillary in 2008 in the primary and then voted for Obama in the general election in 2008 and 2012 (even after Benghazi).
The uncharitable side of me puts that together with the "if you could have any posting in the world, what would it be" line as an extremely thinly veiled take on "Vinnie and Guido" coming up and saying "nice career ya got there... it's be a shame if someone were to set fire to it."
The 'rats on the panel were essentially saying, "we'd like to be able to protect you (if you play ball)".
