Al the oGre*

God, please spare us any more of Algore’s curses on America.
There should be a law prohibiting the use of “Gore” in the same paragraph with “ethical.”
Well, actually, he's right.
Iron ore, bauxite, limestone, sand, pitchblende, granite, shale, pumice, oil, sodium chloride, and H2O, being inanimate matter are neither ethical nor unethical.
Even man-made objects - like claw hammers, saws, pulleys, scalpels, drills, atomic bombs, automobiles, and tweezers - are likewise without an ethical dimension.
It all depends upon how you came by them (theft, purchase, self-made) and what you intend to do with them (gouge out the eyeballs unsuspecting pedestrians, deliver a baby, destroy an asteroid on a collision course with Earth).
So Gore was (unintentionally, I'm sure) right - for once.
Regards,
Rather hypocritical from a guy who just pocketed millions from the sale of his near defunct TV network to wealthy Arab oil sheiks. I’m also certain Al didn’t drive an electric car to this speech and likely flew in a private jet and was driven around in a limo both modes of transportation dependent on that unethical oil.
LLS
Hey Albert, just as soon as you “invent” (to go along with your invention of the internet) a source of energy that is equivalent to what oil is able to provide, then you can decry the evils of oil.
Oh yeah, he gave it ALL back...he doesn’t want unethical, dirty money. /s
Said the man who made milllions from selling his inherited ownership of Occidental Petroleum, and flies in a private jet, and drives in a fleet of SUVs, and lives in a wastefully large house.
“There’s no such thing as an ethical leftist”
So Algore will assume a strictly-agrarian lifestyle when? He should be benefiting from absolutely nothing that has any relationship to oil whatsoever: planes, taxis, cars, clothing, shoes, and so forth.
The oil sands produce organic oil.*
*Literally true.
Says someone who sold his TV network to Al-Jezeera, which is owned by Qatar, a member of OPEC.
