Realistic? Neither of those two in your post 100 are "realistic".

What can a plastic pellet do to a 2 year old’s eye?

From the two guns in question? It would sting... But you'd have to have it damn near point blank directly at the sclera to do any damage at all.

Like we keep trying to tell you, it's a toy.

Some of the much more expensive airsoft could conceivably do damage to something like an eye. The two you posted a photo of? Not so much...

This is what New York law says:

“It shall be unlawful for any person to sell or offer for sell, possess or use or attempt to use or give away, any toy or imitation firearm which **substantially duplicates or can reasonably be perceived to be an actual firearm** unless:

(a) the entire exterior surface of such toy or imitation firearm is colored white, bright red, bright orange, bright yellow, bright green, bright blue, bright pink or bright purple, either singly or as the predominant color in combination with other colors in any pattern”

So, it was illegal for him to own the gun in question.

Secondly, he was firing it in a crowded park. (see picture) He let his 3 year old shoot it. And gave it to his daughter who rode around the park on her bike pointing it at people. How does a child safely ride a bike holding a bb gun while pointing at other children?

Sorry. The guy is an idiot.
