Charles could have chose to do nothing like so many do nowadays. He could have thought it wasn’t any of his business.
He could have called the police who may have taken too long to get there.
I think Amanda Berry snapped because her daughter was next; Charles saved a child as well....he has a place in Heaven for that alone.
I am also glad he spoke about us white women running into a strange black man’s arms because it’s true.
Most of the crime where I live is done by black thugs and yes-I have to judge that book by it’s cover. I do have black neighbors; they are just regular, working people and don’t instill the fear/caution in me that a baggy pant wearing gang looking thug does....
But if I had been held prisoner by an evil bastard for 10+ years and my own child may be next, I would have hugged anyone who helped me-God Bless him-he chose to get involved.

What about the neighbors who supposedly reported 3 men leading 3 women around on leashes in the backyard? I hope the police are keeping that in mind.
I don’t think they were with him when he was arrested. I read that he was arrested at McDonalds, one of the other brothers was arrested at their mother’s house, then the third brother was arrested at another location.

Goodness gracious! This man, who seems like a very likeable fellow, intuited that something bad had happened to that little girl and asked him to help her. He was animated and seemed ebullient. His facial features, when he spoke with the reporter, tells us he was making a joke. He smiled and raised his eyebrows and drew in a little closer. I never once thought he was making a racial statement. Now the PC police come out to tell us what to think about what we saw.
