For decades it has been U.S. policy to not admit people who would become a burden on society, including those with limited mental faculties. It’s written into the law. I’ll try to find the exact wording of the statute.

Can you type stuff like that with a straight face?

We're advertising how to get food stamps in Mexico. We're letting hundreds of 'burdens' into our country every day.

I think your definition of ‘burden on society’ must be more narrow than is the modern legal AND illegal immigration experience in the US. A majority of both groups lean on government entitlements.
