China is growing quickly, right in front of our eyes.
Yet we continue to help them grow.
China now exports more than America.
Yet we continue to help them grow.
The next time you shop for (anything) stop for a moment and ask, where was this (whatever) made.
Very likely it was made in China. Republicans and Democrats have both sent AMERICAN jobs to China now for several decades.
Well that is causing China to become very, very strong.
Bring back American jobs now. And do something about our international taxation laws please.
It should not be cheaper to export an American job, than to buy something made in America.
Buy American.
How did you make this post?
American made computer?
Most won’t pay for an American made shirt.
Triple (at least) the cost.
The only thing keeping inflation down is that we have exported our labor to slave economies and expanded credit to the moon.
I want to move the jobs back, but you have to be honest about the costs. Short term, our standard of living will take a huge hit when most can no longer afford the crap they buy now.
Amen.
Been doing this for a long, long time. I haven’t often done without a certain item because I refuse to buy anything made in China.
You’ll have to wait until the bombs and bullets start flying before we can see have good or bad the Chinese military is ,right now it’s just a lot of TALK
Your barking up the wrong tree bucko.
I might go for boycot China, but buy American what?
Is it safe?
The Chinese are the #1 importer of irradiated metal - a recent shipment of kitchenware was denied entry because it exceeded radiation standards in a random check. How many were let in because they were not randomly checked? If they can make a profit on 9 shipments and eat the loss of the 1 shipment sent back - they will do so. Personally I think that the idea we are catching 10% is an over estimation.
The Chinese routinely slip industrial chemicals into consumer products if they mimic a more expensive ingredient. Two Mexican children died from eating toothpaste from china.
The Chinese imported pet snacks that killed many U.S. pets. Is saving $1 or two on pet snacks worth the risk to your pet?
