my granddad died at 96....drove til 93 and he never once in his life was even stopped by police or was never in an accident....if there were only 2 cars in America and the speed limit was 55,,,he drove 54 mph

I only have excuses; as my son said I drive the car, the car doesn’t drive me. The 335i BMW is a beautiful car and a touch on the gas finds you doing 80 when the moment before you were doing 50. It’s a twin-turbo 300HP engine w/a top speed of 155MPH w/the limiter. I got the ticket on a remote 30 mile straight stretch (emphasis on “straight” and “remote”) and the speed limit was 55MPH. He locked me in a 76 - I could have been going 100 just as easily. Funny thing is that before we left on our trip I read my wife a story about a guy on a motorcycle was was caught on radar doing 130 MPH on that same stretch two days before.
